Fresh spices straight from India have just landed into the hands of Green Saffron Owner and Chef Arun Kapil. Wednesday 14th January, he’s showcasing them in the first Guest Chef Dinner 2015 at O’Connell’s Restaurant in Donnybrook. This man is known for his exotic Indian spice blends which make cooking authentic Indian dishes at home a sinch.   But he’s come up with a stunner of a menu for this exclusive evening, hosted by no other than O’Connell’s proprietor Tom O’Connell,  and his elegant team of staff. Aromatic scents will waft over the dining room as Arun gets to work dishes that range from classic Eat-Me-With-A-Spoon Leg of Lamb Massala to eclectic seasonal touches like Pot Roast Hen Pheasant, Bacon and Shallots, with Armagnac and Clementines, spiced with fresh Cardomom. There are serious treats in store! Arun will introduce his menu to diners and be on hand to answer questions and give out some top tips as well.
