Mary’s Fish Galway was founded in 2013 by Mary Carrick and since then she and her dedicated team have built a reputation of excellence in providing only the best fresh fish and seafood to their customers. Mary prides herself on having a close working relationship with local fishermen, who provide her with fresh catch each day from the ports of Galway, Connemara and more along the western seaboard.

Fresh fish is available each day from the shop and the range is versatile and exciting and is also dependent on the season. Choose from a selection of white fish such as hake, haddock or cod. Be more adventurous and daring with your cooking with a selection of fresh squid. All the shellfish favourites are also available such as lobster, mussels, oysters and much more. Why not pick of a selection of smoked salmon and enjoy it at home with some homemade brown bread. So tasty! Subtle flavours and seasoning added to fish will provide you a quick and easy delicious family meal. Feel free to ask for Mary and her team’s recommendations for cooking your fish. They will happily suggest what flavours or cooking techniques go best with what fish. For example, simply steam salmon and serve with rice and veggies or pan fry some swordfish with lemon, garlic and basil. Yum! Cooking times are generally only a few minutes depending on portion size. Home delivery is available for those who cannot make it to the fish shop or who are living further afield. This valuable service serves the surrounding towns within Co. Galway. Deliveries are made Tuesday to Friday and include areas such as Moycullen, Kinvarra, Ouchterard, Clarenbridge to name just a few.
